Medication can help save normal functioning hair follicles and thereby future hair loss. Another frontal hair loss treatment that is effective for both men and women is minoxodil, more commonly known as Rogaine. There is a separate medicine leaflet called Minoxidil scalp preparations for women which gives more information about these.

Kramer said studies have indicated the drug may cause side effects such as sexual impotence and reduced sexual desire. Trimming hair really short will make it look as though your hair is all short and the balding appears to be blended in with the super short strands. The hair count for the people taking the pill increased with maximum hair growth taking place after two years of taking the medication.
